Since we don't get to see many cast interviews, I want to put this one up.
It was back in August. Jason did an interview with the local NYC TV channel, CW11
Will there be a Dexter/Brotherhood Premiere?
Will there be any Brotherhood promotions on talkshows, etc??
David D. made the rounds for Californication, even on Jay Leno.
Could we hope for same?
A question was asked 'Why nobody watched the first season?' at the TCA Summer Press Tour this July and the panel was stumped. No one could answer it.
IT"S OBVIOUS! Not good enough promotion!!
Please don't make the same mistake again, Showtime!
Thanks to Gillian from JasonIsaacsOnline MB. We got to watch the video interview of Jason talking about his Brotherhood and Lucius Malfoy roles.
The interview was from Aug 6th. It is on this page. Scroll down 'Celebrity Interviews' To 'Jason Isaacs'
Will it be possible in the future for Showtime to give us headups on the stars appearances?? Please....
Char
Fact is: most people start watching a show because of the lead actors/actresses. Then if the show is good, they stay with it. Others will get interested from words of mouth.
So...to capitalize on these facts:
Showtime need to 'sell' the actors on talkshows!
Jason Isaacs is hot off his role as the sexy wizard Lucius Malfoy in the most recent Harry Potter film, Order of the Phoenix. Much more audience have noticed him this time around and they were impressed. Critics also love him in this role.
Get him on the talkshow circuit, NOW! While he is still hot. HP fans will be interested enough to check him out in Brotherhood if they didn't know about it before. Most HP fans are kids but you don't know why a lot of moms gladly bring their kids back for second, third showing..just to ogle Lucius..LOL
Showtime has CBS backing...please get the actors on CBS talkshows at least, if you can't manage Leno or Conan.
Please voice your opinions...we want season 2 to be a success....and we want season 3&4&....
Thanks,
Char
